As a not-for-profit ourselves, Volunteering Bay of Plenty knows the challenges faced by the sector when operationalising our Vision and Mission. We do not always have the resources to hire paid workers to deliver our services to our communities. Volunteers have skills that often are overlooked until we start to recognise that Volunteering includes almost anything, can utilise the experience and skills already held through career progression as well as emergency response and environmental clean-ups.
