We are thrilled to invite you to a special Morning Tea to celebrate International Volunteer Managers Day!
Join us as we recognise and honour the incredible contributions you make as a leader of volunteers. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with fellow volunteer managers, share experiences, and reflect on the vital role you play in shaping the future of volunteering.
This year’s celebration carries the theme: “Be BOLD. Make Change.” It serves as both recognition of the boldness volunteer managers already embody and an invitation for organisations and communities to take action in support of them.
We’re excited to welcome Chris Atkinson as our guest speaker.
Chris has worked in volunteer engagement since the International Year of the volunteer in 2001. She established the volunteer service at Waikato Hospital and worked for nine years as a regional advisor for Volunteering Waikato. Currently Chris is an advisor for the volunteer service at Health New Zealand Te Whatu Ora Waikato, as well as providing training, coaching and mentoring to Not-For-Profits in best practice volunteer engagement.
